SNK will release Nightmare Geese as a Season 2 DLC character for FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves on February 26, 2026. The character’s arrival coincides with the simultaneous release of a third collaboration with Street Fighter, with all collaboration content offered free of charge.

What’s included

Nightmare Geese first appeared in Real Bout Fatal Fury Special (1997) as an embodiment of the deceased Geese Howard’s nightmare-given form. The character is voiced by Kong Kuwata in Japanese and Richard Epcar in English. Alongside the fighter, SNK is adding EOST MODE, a single-player RPG mode featuring Nightmare Geese’s original story. SNK has clarified that no Arcade Mode is planned for Nightmare Geese.

The third Street Fighter collaboration follows two previous rounds that added Ken and Chun-Li as guest content. This round includes:

Limited-time costumes for Rock and Preecha, themed after Street Fighter’s Luke and Juri
New collaboration skills that blend mechanics from both series
A special, non-playable boss character, Shadow Terry, described as an overwhelming presence
An EOST MODE storyline in which Street Fighter 6 villain JP brainwashes Terry, with Ken, Chun-Li, Rock, and Jenny teaming up to face the resulting threat

Background

Nightmare Geese is the second character in Season Pass 2, following Kim Jae Hoon. According to SNK, the pass is planned to include six total characters delivered on a monthly basis: Kim Jae Hoon, Nightmare Geese, Blue Mary, Wolfgang Krauser, and two mystery characters to be announced later. SNK has confirmed Blue Mary for a March 2026 release and Wolfgang Krauser for April 2026. Season Pass 2 costs ¥1,980 (about $13). Players can also pick up the base game plus both Season Passes together via the FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves Legend Edition, currently available for ¥6,490 (about $43).

FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves originally launched on April 24, 2025, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Epic Games Store. Notably, this marks the game’s continued post-launch content cadence following its new REV battle system and EOST single-player mode introduced at launch, alongside cross-platform, rollback-based online play.
